Frequently Asked Questions

Read below. You can also print these FAQs in Word format

Is it too late to procure something for the auction?

No, we will still be accepting donations through February 29 including wine valued at $20 or more for the Wine Grab Bag and cash donations for the Instant Wine Cellar. February 15 is the deadline to make it into the printed auction catalog.

What is the auction attire?

You will find a range of attire at the auction from casual dresses to jeans.  Usually it’s a step-up from the playground, but still casual and comfortable.  Please just keep it simple and come as you are as long as you come.

How can I find a list of auction items?

For a current list of auction items go to our Sneak Peek page. There will also be a printed catalog distributed several days prior the auction to review and bring with you.

Where is the HUB (Husky Union Building) and where can I park?

Parking is free after 12noon on Saturday March 8th.  The closest parking will be in the Padelford Garage (lots N16-N21).  Disability and short term parking will be available in lot N22 just north of the HUB

 N16

How is the seating arranged for dinner?

You have two options for seating arrangements:

1.       Purchase an entire table for you and your friends

2.        Buy single tickets and choose a grade you prefer to sit with on your response card.

Table assignments will be given out at pre-registration and the night of the auction.

 What’s on the menu?

There are three choices for dinner - Vegetarian Lasagne, Bay Laurel Chicken or Citrus Marinated Sirloin Tip.  Please indicate your preference on your auction response card.

Will the auction have a cash bar?

Thanks to generous sponsors, beer and wine will be provided complimentary throughout the evening. There will be no cash bar at the auction.

How do I know whether I won a silent auction?

The wining bid is posted on the table where the item was assigned.  You can also find-out during checkout.

 How do I pay?

The easiest and fastest way to pay is to sign up for express checkout with a credit card the week prior to auction.  Express checkout sign up will be available before and after school next to the office.  You will also be able to pay with a check or credit card at the auction.

Do I get to take my winning item(s) home with me that evening?

Yes, all items should be collected prior to leaving.  There is no home delivery for items that are not claimed.

 How can I help?

We’re always looking for help. Please contact Heika_Hibbert (at) yahoo(dot)com for additional information on volunteering opportunities.
