Printer Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling
Our school earns money when you
bring in your laser and inkjet cartridges, cell phones, and other digital
devices and working DVD players for recycling. A wholesaler pays the PTA
for these items, then refurbishes and resells them.

Get a new mobile phone for the holidays? Don’t let your old one languish
in a drawer: Donate it to the
Cell
Phone Recycling Drive! Bring your
good condition used phone to the school office, or put it the PTA drop box
outside the office—you’ll earn money for a good cause and keep working
electronics out of a landfill.
The Laurelhurst PTA can earn $5, $10, and even more for
some brands of cell phones and PDAs. Brands accepted for recycling are:
APPLE, AUDIOVOX, BLACKBERRY, DANGER, HANDSPRING/PALM, HP, HTC, KYOCERA, LG,
MOTOROLA, NOKIA, PANTEC, PANASONIC, SAMSUNG, SANYO, SIEMENS, SONY
ERICSSON, SPRINT, T-MOBILE, UTSTARCOM, VERIZON.
Cell phones are accepted all year, but especially during
